Datamine Studio RM (Drillhole Data to Reporting)
Geological Modelling, Implicit and Explicit, Resource Modelling, Estimation, Reporting,Validation
What you'll learn
⚡ Prepare Explicit Geological Model
⚡ Prepare Implicit Geological Model
⚡ Prepare Block Model, Estimate and Report
⚡ Validate

Requirements
❗ Basic Understanding of Geology, Drilling
Description
Learn the complete workflow ofDatamine Studio RM through a practical, project-based approach. This course is designed for geology students, exploration geologists, mining engineers, and resource professionals who want to build confidence in using Datamine for geological modelling and resource estimation.
Starting with raw drillhole data, you will learn how to prepare collar, survey, assay, and lithology files, validate data, create drillhole databases, generate wireframes, build block models, assign densities, perform compositing, define search ellipses, estimate grades using IDW, and visualize the final resource model. Along the way, you'll also understand the purpose of each step, common mistakes, and industry best practices.
The course includes downloadable datasets so you can follow every exercise hands-on. No prior experience with Datamine is required—each topic is explained from the basics with real exploration data.
You'll also gain an understanding of how these workflows are applied in real mineral exploration and resource evaluation projects, preparing you to confidently tackle practical geological modelling tasks in both academic and professional environments.
By the end of this course, you will be able to confidently create a complete geological model and perform a basic mineral resource estimation workflow in Datamine Studio RM, providing a strong foundation for professional exploration and mining projects
