Graitec Steel is a structural steel detailing and fabrication solution. Unlike previous GRAITEC offerings that were mainly add-ons, GRAITEC Steel is positioned as a unified platform that connects the entire steel project workflow - from engineering and detailing to fabrication and production. It was officially introduced in June 2026.
The software is intended for:
Structural steel detailing.
Steel fabrication drawings.
Automatic generation of shop drawings.
CNC and fabrication data export.
Stair and railing design.
Steel connections.
BIM coordination between engineers, detailers, and fabricators.
Graitec Steel is marketed as a complete solution, but it is built around Autodesk technologies rather than replacing them.
Internally it combines several Graitec products, including:
PowerPack for Autodesk Advance Steel.
PowerPack for Autodesk Inventor.
Stairs & Railings for Advance Steel.
Stairs & Railings for Inventor.
It works directly with Autodesk Advance Steel and Autodesk Inventor, allowing users to stay in those environments while using Graitec's enhanced functionality.
