Dynamo For Civil 3D Series ( Part I: Parametric 3D Modeling)

A step-by-step course for learning Dynamo with C3D & creating 3D infrastructure models from scratch & parametrically!

    What you'll learn
    Fundamentals of Dynamo for Civil3D
Dynamo UI, Navigation & Crucial Nodes
Special focus on parametric modeling in infrastructure projects in Civil3D
Three cable-stayed 3D bridge concept modelling

    Requirements
Newer versions of Civil3D in which Dynamo is integrated!

    Description
    - By the end of this course, you will be able to create three fully parametric 3D cable-stayed bridge concepts using Dynamo.

    - In the first section, we will start from scratch by becoming familiar with the Dynamo interface, primitive shapes, geometry creation, data input and management, as well as the fundamental behaviors of Dynamo nodes.

    - In the second section, we will apply the skills learned in the previous lessons to create our first bridge concept: a single-pylon cable-stayed bridge.

    - In the third section, we will build upon our previous model and transform the single-pylon bridge into a different variation known as the Inverted Y cable-stayed bridge.

    - In the final section, we will further refine our model and convert the Inverted Y configuration into an H-pylon cable-stayed bridge.

    - Lastly, the course includes several video lessons from which you will learn how to establish a live connection between Dynamo and Civil 3D. This will allow you to transfer your bridge model into Civil 3D as a collection of solids and receive instant visual feedback when changes are made in Dynamo.

    - Whether you are a complete beginner or already have experience with Dynamo, this course is designed for engineers, BIM specialists, and infrastructure professionals who work with 3D modeling on a regular basis. Throughout the course, you will develop practical skills that can help you automate workflows, improve efficiency, and create complex parametric models with confidence.

    - Thank you for joining me, and I'll see you in the course.

    Who this course is for
A basic understanding of AutoCAD systems and Civil3D would make your learning experience smoother and easier, however, you may start from scratch as well by just following the step by step videos!
