Description
This Learning Path contains courses that will teach you how to configure your Civil 3D platform to easily access your templates and will teach you the basics for customizing Civil 3D Styles and Settings. The topics presented in this course are conceptually fundamental, but intended as the next level of learning for the Civil 3D platform. Each course can be taken individually or in sequence as presented.
Upon completion, you will be able to:· Configure your Civil 3D platform for easy access to your template drawings· Copy Styles and Settings between Drawings and/or Templates· Configure Label Style Defaults· Create Custom Object Styles, Label Styles, and Band Styles· Create Custom Label Sets and Band Sets· Configure Drawing, Feature, and Command Settings· Create Custom Property Sets and add to Template Courses Enrolling in the Learning Path will add the following courses to your Current Enrollments list:· Manage Civil 3D Templates· Customize Object Styles· Customize Object Label Styles· Configure Drawings Settings· Property Sets Learning Path Prerequisites· Civil 3D Fundamentals In this course you will learn the importance of templates and how to create templates for your Civil 3D projects.
Templates will help enforce organization and project standards, but also help to simplify the use of tools in Civil 3D. Starting a new project drawing using the correct template, or referencing a template, loads the AutoCAD and Civil 3D styles to jump start you into your projects.
