    nanoSoft nanoCAD BIM Electro 2024 v24.0

    nanoCAD Electro - computer-aided design in terms of power electrical equipment (EM), internal (EO) and external (EN) electrical lighting of industrial and civil facilities.

    Elements in the equipment database contain all the necessary information, from the name to the 3D model. The nanoCAD Electro equipment databases are completely open for editing and updating. The program comes with free databases of all manufacturers of electrical equipment that have partnerships with Nanosoft.

    The program includes an extensive list of model checks for correct execution. If any element of the model deviates from the standards, the program signals this to the user.

    The nanoCAD Electro system frees the design engineer from labor-intensive routine work: marking equipment, carrying out calculations, counting all equipment, products, materials and putting them into specifications, drawing up a cable log, creating circuit diagrams of the network and much more. At the same time, the risk of errors in the design documentation due to the “human factor” is minimized. As a result, the design process is noticeably accelerated, and the quality of documents increases.

    In nanoCAD Electro you can create cable routes of any complexity: single-tier and multi-tier, single-sided and double-sided. The program automatically selects connecting elements, down to nuts and bolts, if the equipment database is sufficiently detailed. The program automatically calculates cable lengths, taking into account all the specifics: cable reserve for laying, cable reserve for cutting, rounding the cable length to a given value, and so on. In addition, for power cables the program automatically determines the required number of cores.

    NanoCAD Electro implements both methods for calculating illumination: the Utilization Factor Method and the Point Method. After calculating using the utilization coefficient method, the program automatically places the lamps in the room.

    All necessary electrical calculations are implemented in nanoCAD Electro:

    Calculation of electrical loads according to RTM 36.18.32.4-92, SP 256.1325800.2016 and TEP
    Calculation of one-, two- and three-phase short circuit currents according to GOST 28249-93 and “Phase-zero loop”
    Calculation of cable for non-ignition according to Circular No. Ts-02-98 (E)
    Calculation of leakage currents through insulation according to PUE 7 p. 7.1.83
    Voltage drop calculation

    Based on the results of work in nanoCAD Electro, the following design documents are generated:

    plans for the location of equipment and laying of cable routes;
    schematic diagrams of distribution and supply networks;
    specification of equipment, products and materials;
    cable magazine;
    reports with the results of lighting calculations;
    reports with the results of electrical calculations.
