Excel Tips and Tricks for Engineers

    Requirements
Must have excel installed on your computer.

    Description
The goal of this course is to teach you ways you can use excel in order to solve engineering problems in the real world and create worksheets that are easy to navigate. To follow along and make the most out of this course it is recommended that you have the latest version of Excel installed on your computer and have used excel at least once for an assignment or personal project. To enhance your learning experience, I went ahead created short review lessons for some of the math topics and included homework assignments in each lecture for you to check your understanding before proceeding to the next lecture. Moreover, I structured this course so that each lesson is independent from each other. This means you can skip ahead to the part that interests you the most. As far as the course syllabus goes, we are going to start by reviewing the basic matrix operations and calculus operations such as matrix addition, subtraction, derivatives etc. Afterwards, we will learn ways to solve multivariable systems of equations in excel using the excel solver module, create interactive graphs, program logic to our worksheets, and ultimately unlock the power of the VLOOKUP function. As you watch these lectures I highly encourage you to email me with questions if some part of the lecture is unclear or whether you would like some academic advice as you take your first steps as an engineer.

    Who this course is for
Engineering students who want to learn how to apply excel in their projects and reports.
