XSMP from Siger Studio for 3ds Max is a continuation of the well-known family of plugins: V-Ray Material Presets Pro (VMPP), Corona Material Presets Pro (CMPP) and Material Repository Pro (MRP).
But at the same time, this is a completely new software, created from scratch.
The idea for the software dates back to 2006 - the first free material manager written with MaxScript (only had a few free material libraries). The history of a commercial plugin began in 2009 (C # and MaxScript).
Currently - written in C # / C ++ and has thousands of material presets, a fast and convenient material manager, a materials laboratory for testing your materials.
