في العادة عندما نفقد كلمة سر البيوس نقوم بالتالي
نفرغ ذاكرة السيموس بفك البطارية أو بتغيير الجمبر
أو نكتب كلمة AWARD_SW في البيوس الخاص بشركة AWARD
أما اذا كانت المشكلة في جهاز لاب توب والبيوس الخاص به لا يقبل الباسوورد اما ان الاصدار مختلف في شركة AWARD أو ان نوعه مختلف
صادفتني هذه المشكلة وجدت الحل في برنامج Cmos password recovery tools

Les mots de passe Award sont stockes sur 32 bits* donc de nombreux passwords
se codent de la meme maniere. CmosPwd affiche alors l'un de ces mots de passe.

NB: AWARD 4.50 have a backdoor* a generic password : AWARD_SW (d8on for one of the short version)
SOYO motherboard have "SY_MB" as master password for Award 4.51.
CmosPwd give equivalent passwords for Award BIOS* not original one.

Toshiba
To reset the password of a Toshiba* you can use KeyDisk.
If this doesn't work* you can try to build the Toshiba Parallell loopback.
To make a simple device that you connect to your parallell port* a lot of Toshiba computers remove the password when you boot it up. The device* named "loopback" by some* could be made out of any parallell wire with 25pins connectors (db25). You should connect these pins: 1-5-10* 2-11* 3-17* 4-12* 6-16* 7-13* 8-14* 9-15* 18-25
