هذه الرسالة إلى الآباء والأمهات

قبل أسابيع قليلة من الامتحانات



Dear Parents,

الآباء الأعزاء



The exams of your children are to start soon.

I know you are all really anxious for your child to do well.

امتحانات أطفالك من المقرر أن تبدأ قريبا

وأنا أعلم أنكم جميعا حرصون حقا

على نجاح طفلكم والقيام بعمل جيد



But, please do remember, amongst the students, who will be sitting for the exams, there is an artist, who doesn't need to understand Maths.

ولكن، من فضلك تذكر

من بين الطلاب الذين سيتم جلوسهم للامتحانات

هناك الفنان

الذي لا يحتاج إلى فهم الرياضيات



There is an entrepreneur, who doesn't care about History or English literature.

هناك المقاول

الذين لا يخصه التاريخ أو الأدب الإنجليزي



There's a musician, whose Chemistry marks won't matter.

هناك الموسيقي، الذي لن تهمه علامات الكيمياء



There's a sportsperson, whose physical fitness is more important than Physics. هناك الرياضي ، اللياقته البدنية أكثر أهمية من الفيزياء



If your child does get top marks, that's great !But, if he or she doesn't, please don't take away their self- confidence and dignity from them.

إذا كان طفلك تحصل على أعلى الدرجات، هذا عظيم !

ولكن، إذا كان هو أو هي لم يحقق ذلك

من فضلك لا تسلب منه الثقة بالنفس والكرامة



Tell them it's OK, it's just an exam! They are cut out for much bigger things in life.

قل لهم لا بأس، انه مجرد امتحان !

وانهم وجهوا لأشياء أكبر من ذلك بكثير في الحياة



Tell them, no matter what they score,

you love them and will not judge them.

قل لهم

انك تحبهم بغض النظر عن ما احرزوا من درجات



Please do this, and when you do, watch your children conquer the world. One exam or a low mark won't take away their dreams and talent.

رجاءا قوموا بذلك ، وعندما تقوموا بذلك

ستشاهدون اطفالكم يقهرون العالم

امتحان واحد أو درجات منخفضة

لن تسلبهم أحلامهم . ومواهبهم



And please, do not think that doctors and engineers are the only happy people in the world.
